With transfer speculation all over the papers now the Football season is over, I would welcome opinions from all Football supporters on which journalists (if any) you respect the most be it accurate transfer stories or interesting articles?
Of little or no interest or relevance 'dahn sarff' but Jim Traynor is quite posisbly the best sports journo working today. Closely followed by Charles 'Chick' Young.

Stereo. That is PRECISELY the point. The guy deliberately winds up fans of EVERY club for a reason. His job is to sell newspapers and airtime. He's not gonna do that by being bland, 'Mr Nice Gut I've Got No Opinions', is he? No, he's gonna stir it up - precisely for the reason you give - to get a reaction from fan-dans like us. He does his job superbly well.

I've noticed the Scotsman getting more hunnish in the last year or so, some quotes and allegations in the last few months in particular could have been lifted straight from Follow Follow.

I dunno. I don't read it very often. Have you seen the riff-raff they employ? At least Tom English was the only journalist who had the balls to tell Rangers that they only had themselves to blame for getting into trouble with UEFA over sectarian singing. All the others were pointing the finger at Celtic fans, shady anti-sectarian organisations etc.
