Always admire someone who supports a less fashionable team...I think of them as real fans, which is a bit harsh on people who happen to live in Manchester and support their local team Bit like having a young Filipino wife...no one believes its a love match...tough if it is.
More than a chance. Think he'll be gone before they kick off against Liverpool. A Chairman who really knows how to get the fans behind him. Doh!
Nope - Cardiff have a replacement lined up so the new manager will probably be in place by Boxing Day.
Imagine that was David Cameron's plan - support a team in middle England: don't commit to north or south. Man of the people. Although don't know why so many toffs support Aston Villa - it seems to bring in its fair share of Hollywood supporters too, such as Tom Hanks.
Very good. Blimey, just had a look at the thread on the Tottenham board. They are REALLY not confident at all..... .....but then saying that, the "old Saints" in me knows that these are precisely the games we can cock up. Here's hoping for a positive performance and result, with as little as possible for Gazzaniga to do.....
Just been following Sherwood's live press conference. Injured: Kaboul, Vertonghen, Townsend (& possibly Dawson and Sandro) Suspended: Paulinho
So he did. When I looked it had x-x for that fixture for some reason. Don't be fooled, he's not a real football fan, not in the slightest. As he said in the commons in 2001: Since then he's undergone a prime ministerial PR-makeover and someone obviously advised him to get into it to make him appear more of a man of the people.
I still don't like Vertonghen for last season's fixture where Mayuka was through and then he stuck out a leg because he knew he wouldn't have caught up with him.
I would say it is bad because someone might play that has a chance of a goal or assist. Townsend is a fast version of Puncheon without the end product. What are his stats now? 200 shots, no assists, 1 goal?..........or have they improved. I think Shaw would pin him back anyway
