Brady would have only have been on the bench anyway.

    Good news about Bruce.

At the moment sadly Brady won't be much of a loss.

Quinn has had a set-back with his recovery and is going to be out for longer than hoped.

I feel really sorry for Quinny, he gives everything and hasn't let us down. Like to see him fit ASAP.

Do they only have one working groin between them?

I knew it'd be the end of Brady's season when it emerged he had a hernia.

A bit back yes. Like Dudgeon sadly. Both look likely to be well intio the New Year before we see them fit again.

Brady is not worth risking with 2 games in 3 days around the corner. Get Big Nick P. on the bench.

I would not risk starting Bruce jnr either. Same reason as Brady. McShane for me alongside Davies and Chester.

    Otherwise same team 2 moz.

Brady is paying the price for rushing back @ Everton.

Why do we rush players back, only to suffer repercussions later? Brady isn't the first.

I think he'd struggle to get into the team at the moment even if he was fit.

What is going on with Brady? He was OK to come on and play 25 mins against Stoke....

I don't believe we "rush players back" I would imagine that in normal times players are only considered when they are passed fit by the medical team and declare themselves fit. There will be times when any team has a spate of injuries that players carrying minor niggles are chosen but I don't imagine players recovering from major injuries or surgery are risked.

A few weeks ago Swanny made the point that many players are carrying niggling injuries for a great part of the season, its part and parcel of being a professional sportsman.

We do however seem to have a short sighted view when players return from injury, only to then suffer a recurrence and a longer spell on the sidelines as a result.

If it is one of his hernia repairs-I think he had both done-or both then one or both of the repairs may have failed. Recovery from a hernia repair done in the "keyhole" fashion as you Brits call it is rapid especially if you are young. However, they are still vulnerable to force in the abdomen that is quite small at an early stage. Those forces can be created by doing everyday things let alone playing a game of soccer. Personal experience of this-without playing the game of soccer, but, other strenous activity-that necessitated the repair being done again this time with an open technique with a much longer recovery.

I know it's Christmas, but that's a poor show if it's not sold out. For £10-£15 you're not going to get better value for a match in this league.

My first visit to the Hawthorns tomorrow. Their website says away fans should park on the Evans Easy Space Factory Unit Site, B71 4LS. Has anybody had experience of parking there or could anyone recommend somewhere else?
