thinking about it suppose it is lol, went in a pub in London, while back now, the pub we ended up in had no furniture at all, was a horrible weird feeling as you knew it was a dodgy ****a, looked ok from outside, batards.
My local is full of farm workers, with a smattering of local spivs. Nice enough pub, but never even the whiff of a fight.....oh for the good old days
If you google: 'Cheshire Cheese, Latchford', you'll see a picture of it. It looks like a nice cosy country pub. I remember being stood outside one Sunday in summer having a *** and chatting. A brand spanking Range Rover pulled up on the small cobbled parking area. A bloke in a tweed jacket and flat cap got out (sweats?) with his wife. We all grinned at each other and followed them in, having bet they'd be asking for Sunday dinner. Indeed they were. They asked if there was ANY food, to be told that crisps, nuts, scratchings and scampi fries were on offer. They declined and took their deinks to go and sit down. It's not a big pub and you can hear everything that's going on. We always have a few games of darts on a Sunday and it gets very competitive in a friendly way In there, I sound exactly like I do on here, except worse. They didn't finish their drinks
Farm workers don't fight? Bloody 'ell. I know several pubs where the local farmers descend at the weekend with that express intention.
looks ok from outside, but i suppose with dodgy ****s like you drinking there wont be long before less of these are around, know of one knocked down and a ****ing tesco express built where it was,was a good pub as well, i blame the bollocks smoking ban in pubs personally.

It's now the only pub in the centre of Latchford. There's a sports and social about 10 minutes walk away, but you don't get the same atmosphere. Smoking ban has a lot to do with it.
