http://www.theswanseaway.co.uk/2013/12/michu-wants-aspas-to-come-in-but-should.html? Interesting take and now its been put in my head, I kind of see it. Michu Vs Bony, they don't appear to like each other much. What you think guys
I think you're reading too much into it. In my experience this is how the media make stories. A specific question is asked (such as "Iago Aspas isn't getting game time at Liverpool and has been previously linked with the Swans. How do you and the other Spanish lads feel about him coming here on loan?"), and when the answer is given then all of a sudden Michu doesn't like Bony.
Anything for a news story & It depends in what context it was taken .You'd have thought we would be used to it by now .
I know but I'm catching up a bit at the moment and everything I read it seems is either making my eyes open or jaw drop. Michu wanting champions league and calling for us to sign a striker. Personally I think Bony is doing ok, not brill but ok and for £12m thats all he needs to be. 20 goals return from all competitions, 12 in the prem, would justify his transfer value, any more is a bonus. I got another funny feeling, about Bony this time, I think he's gonna explode in the new year and score a bundle for us in the prem.
He's an 'almost' man right now isn't he? Some of his play recently suggests he's beginning to find his touch at long last. Still think the Bony/ Michu partnership needs game time in order to develop. Hopefully this Sunday.
Since he's come back from injury and just before I thought he was playing well , his overall play has been good , great defending , movement around the pitch ,winning virtually every high ball and although chances have been limited the ones he's had have been encouraging . I believe we're going to see a lot more of the positives soon .
Michu has not been the same player since the arrival of Bony as now with us paying a record £12 million for him then michu is not the main player the press is interested in anymore. That is the problem that the smaller clubs have when a player who costs so much more than the rest gets all the attention...Michu's nose has been put out of joint by the new superstar who has taken away most of the attention the media use to shower on him....Its an ego thing which was bound to happen the minute a club like ours who has had a good policy when it comes to wages and limit we will pay for a player to break our policy and splash out £12 million for a single player....It is a certainty that it will cause problems between players who have big ego's
The problem with Michu is that Laudrup steadfastly refuses to play him in his preferred position. Nothing more, nothing less.
Wow, I was wondering how long it would be before laudrup got the blame !... Agree michu is better in the hole though lone
There are a number of games where Michu was preferred to Bony when Bony was available. Man Utd at home, Spurs away and Cardiff away to name just three.
Utd and Spurs were early in the season where it was accepted that Bony was still not match fit , the Cardiff game was tactical I believe .
you are right there mathew. Bony was a bit overweight and was struggling to keep up with the pace...Michu has had enough of playing second fiddle where once he was top dog. the best way for him to get back his mantle is to score goals and we know he can do that..
