    I see that Oxo is likely to be on his way to the premiership. No surprises there.

    Meanwhile, Man City have been (mis?)quoted in the paper that Craig Bellamy is up for sale for £4 million.

    Worth a punt? With his experience of the top 2 divisions and being less than half we should get for Oxo it got me thinking. (That's quite a task in itself on a Sunday)

    I know he has a history of petulence but he's a talented player.

    Any thoughts?

    Good player who seems to be on a downward slope,and more hassle than he is worth to be honest.Would rather spend 500K on Antonio.

    If he's being sold he'll stay in the premiership or go to Cardiff at a push.

    Even if adkins would want to spend that much on one player, which i doubt, it wouldn't be Bellamy. He is the last player we should look to be signing!

    Bellamy coming to Saints is rediculous, but if Adkins allegedly wants rid of Puncheon due to attitude problems then he won't even look at a player with Bellamy's history. Just imagine the potential trouble of having Bellamy and Puncheon in the same team.

    Bellamy is a great player and would love to see him down at St Marys.....however his wages are massive...City were paying for the majority of them last season when he was out on loan, plus he doesn't seem like the kinda character that Adkins would sign anyway

    The question is;
    Whats bigger, his ego or his wages (it must be a close call)?
    Its a 'no' from me.

    Bellamy, Puncheon, Bowyer and any mates of theirs?

    Would be a toss up to see who got the needle first. Alan Smith is still available as well. We would certainly have a tough midfield though. Question being whether they would fight each other or the opponents.

    No, we want to be building a team for a sustainable push for promotion not unbalance the squad with a bigger ego than JP's.

    Credit to Bellamy with his charity work though. Also isn't he in the running to be player/manager of Cardiff?
