I always enjoyed watching Boro when Mclaren was there, especially in Europe. You'd always be guranteed some good attacking football and a fair few goals.
To be fair to McClaren he won a league title against the odds with FC Twente, and he was good at Middleborough. He just wasn't ready for the England job or Wolfsburg. He's a good appointment for most clubs in the Championship/Prem. He's gonna get sick of seeing umberellas at EVERY game though
