Eh?? Can't understand that attitude. A cup that gives entry To a European club competition is a major trophy in anyone's book (or it should be)
By winning the Capital One Cup you get into Europe. I guess that makes it a major trophy then, by your definition at least Personally I think it's a major trophy because all the major teams compete in it
Right I am going at least the the first leg, going to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale. its a 400 mile round trip for me and I will lose 2 x days pay but when are we going to be in a semi final again?
It's just occurred to me that if we were to win the League Cup we'd have had to have beaten Chelsea, United and City (Probably) in the last three rounds. Hypothetically, that's a ****ing unbelievable run for "relegation fodder" like us.
If Sunderland win it from here, even if they just beat West Ham in the final, nobody would be able to take anything away from you. It would be a legitimately won title having beaten the best, and that'd make it a major coup of a cup to me.
It's not a major cup but only if you are in the champs league, for everyone else in the league of course it's major
Ticketing info for first leg of semi-final. Sunderland AFC can now confirm ticket details for the forthcoming Capital One Cup semi-final fixture against Manchester United. The Black Cats will welcome David Moyes’ side to the Stadium of Light on Tuesday 7th January (KO 7.45pm), and tickets for the game are priced at £20 for adults and £5 for supporters aged under 16 and over 65. Black Cats Bar tickets are priced at £35.
So Sunderland & Man united only has 2 days rest then? what a ****ing joke that is. I'm just going to get 2 adults tickets & the rest 5 pound tickets. nobody checks your ticket lads.
Of course different lights but it's work for us loads of times. you just hope there isn't a steward on the gate.
