Of course, you're joking. Cement overshoes, dropped in the harbour is the only fit punishment.

Maybe we should send Dani to Fratton Park to watch Pompey. Oh hang on that would make things worse as he would attack everyone wearing blue in sight. <laugh>

Perhaps Dani wanted Christmas off. Missed his chance for a red when subbed, so went for their coach. :)

Doing an essay on how America ignore it and proceed with the death penalty and haven't shut down Guantanamo!

I agree with this. At the moment nobody even knows exactly what he's meant to have done. Did he kick the opposition goalkeeping coach in the balls during the big brawl/scuffle? Slap Pardew in the tunnel after the game? Something different we don't know about yet?

This might actually be a blessing in disguise. Lambert should get a run of starts and might regain his form. That being said Osvaldo has the right to appeal I imagine. People need to calm down. Osvaldo is a passionate character. Sometimes this sort of thing happens in the heat of the moment to these sort of individuals. We don't even know exactly what happened yet I'm assuming.

just maybe, in his opinion, the comments have been an overreaction. He doesn't need to justify that.

I have changed my mind. He should be made to sit in a classroom and write out lines.

Depends how 'Violent' what he done was as to how the club should react. Lets not forget this was a man, IIRC, who punched one of his own team mates whilst at Roma. Whilst i appreciate the guy has bundles of ability and I am a fan of players who play on the edge, actions such as these reflect badly on our club, and if necssary, I agree with any additional punishment handed out by the club.

If found guilty, he may be fined by the club, but we won't hear about it. Usually done privately.

Any news on this? I thought yesterday was his deadline to comment. Do the FA usually pass sentence straight away if someone pleads guilty, so would there be an announcement today? I believed the new FA regime was to pass these things quickly; can I read into this that he has pleaded guilty or asked for a personal hearing.

Could be key for deciding team selection Boxing Day.
