Big game, given Remy's missed chances chances on Saturday I see it as two points dropped.

Spurs have Southampton this weekend so we need a win to take advantage of the fact that those around us are playing each other. As much as i'd like Ben Arfa to start I do think we should go 4-4-2 and drop Anita (hate saying that and he doesn't deserve to be dropped) due to the defensive help Shola will be able to offer from set pieces.

So Cabaye for Anita would be my only change, possible bring Haidara in for Santon.

I'm going to go 1-4 in our favour. Just think with a fully fit and refeshed Cabaye this game could kick start another winning run for us.

Massive masive game for us I say. CP are on the up with Pulis, have gotten a couple of wins. Us... this game shapes our season I say. Do we push on and keep in touch with the top, clearly seeing us safe of any trouble come may, or do we drop off and struggle to be midtable. Cabs being back is massive. Saturday showed we can't really play football without him. We've got plenty energy, physical strength and will but no finesse.

Clearly points dropped last Saturday. We had the ball, we were pressing and we give it away and let the score. It was naive and a painful draw to take, even if the Saints actually deserved the draw.

Remy needs to find his shooting boots.
Unfortunately I have a horrible feeling we will get beat 1-0.
Pulis plays awful football and usually sets his defence up well.

Hi Saints fan here, good game last week and i think a draw was fair. I'm going to selhurst park on saturday my mate works for nike and has free tickets, Looking forward to seeing you guys play as i have always liked you since the keegan days. I think it will be a dire game though, Pulis is a truly horrible football manager and palace will look to sit deep and pump it long i actually am sorry to say i want palace to win but only so we can move up the league after we beat spurs on sunday.

All the best for the season

At least you're not anchored to the bottom of the table like our neighbours.

Horrible game to predict. Palace are where they are for a reason and are seriously low on quality. But they came up playing flowing football, Pulis' philosophy will not happen overnight and there will be games where they just get confused. I'm hoping that this is one of those games. If we keep our heads our quality should see us through; we're a much more dependable outfit and you can't really bully the likes of Willo, Colo, Debuchy, Cabs, Sissoko anymore. Santon remains the weakest link, but our strongest XI in away matches is crystal clear: Krul - Debuchy, Colo, Willo, Santon* - Sissoko, Cabaye, Tiote, Anita, Gouff - Remy.

    1-2.

Don't know what to make of this game for the following reasons.

    1. Palace are on a good run but their home wins have been against teams near the bottom.
    2. Whilst Newcastle have had away wins at Man Utd and Tottenham, they've had the limp and pathetic displays against Man City and Swansea, as well as losing at Sunderland.

    Probably best bet a draw.

What about the goal that Sissoko will chip in with?

It'll go down as Shola's hat trick goal by virtue of flicking his right arse cheek on the way to goal.

Under Pardew, we've never won by more than 2 goals away from home.

I see us slipping up here I'm afraid. We'll go 2 behind then peg it back to 2-1 and that's how I see it ending.

They're in a good fettle at the moment. I see it being scrappy but them nicking it.

Always possible but I would be a bit surprised. We've got a full squad, a full week's rest and I would be surprised if anyone's feeling cocky or complacent. We're the better team. If we played them 10 times I would expect to get something from 8 of those games. We only play them once, though, so anything's possible

i smell a **** sandwich, could just have followed through though.
i reckon a draw here, Pulis is enjoying the period of galvanisation only ever afforded to managers that show up in the middle of a season when a team's been doing crap.
i reckon that took a little knock in the loss last week but there's more than enough residue to get a result against us, a team that does brilliant when attacked at, not so brilliant when the onus is on us to attack, either way i reckon it'll be a boring game.
