Shamelessly stolen from a comment MD 20/20 made on chatbox.

Is anyone making any? Has anyone ever made any that they've actually kept? Anyone got anything mad they're planning to do in 2014?

I'm going to try and cut down on drinking and gambling (i.e. out less during the week and only putting half of what i currently do now into my gambling account) but other than that haven't got much in mind.

Skydive Dubai, 7th January 2014. Sweating like a Celtic fan at a Primary School just thinking about it <ok>

In terms of resolutions? Nah, **** that, load of ****e. When you're in your 20s Dan, you just do whatever the **** you want, when you want. Just ask any of the cool crew who are going to the cock and curry night out.

Skydiving <yikes> sod that! When i'm doing my mega walks and start to struggle i often think of things like that and realise that i have actually taken the easy fundraising option........

As for the rest of your post, i hope you develop a condition that results in you waking up one morning only to find you've suddenly aged by 20 years and you end up saying things like "tut kids today eh" "it wasn't like this in the 80s - we had respect for our elders" and "if it was made after 1992 it's not worth a ****" <ok>

<laugh> I only agreed to it at the work night out after multiple beers and spirits. Went home smashed, got in to work the next day completely oblivious to agreeing to it, until some **** reminded me. I'm ****ting it <ok>

The thing that would concern me is that i like to be prepared for things like that - how the **** do you train for a sky dive? <laugh> Have to say everyone i know who has done it says it's brilliant.

She got me a cheapo electronic one to try cos I was curious about them. Am no quitting smoking. Am happy on the 10-15 smokes a day am on at the moment.

What I realised about them was that though they give you the nicotine hit you still really really miss the act of smoking in of itself.

    Got my post already ...

Getting Huns banned is easy. Banning "Celtic" fans is hard as Mick loves each one individually!

I started doing it but never completed it.

There's a fast track training program. Canny mind what it's called. But almost all dive sites in the UK do it.

I was doing it up at St Andrews. Basically you start by jumping with your own chute and two guys holding on to you who do everything for you - keep you balanced - make sure your positioning is correct - etc - and pull your shute for you. Then you go again and you pull your own chute. Then you go again with only one guy... ..and so on

I think is was 5 or 6 jumps before you passed and can jump solo.
