Cloud Atlas Wierd but quite compelling. I was expecting a huge twist at the end or some sort of an explanation. I thought I got it but I was'nt sure so I asked someone else who had seen it and they agreed with my reading of the story. Worth a watch in a strange way if you have a spare 3 hours. Plus it was nice to see Glasgow standing in for San Francisco.
I was looking forward to it but was disappointed. A good film that is compelling but again very hard to understand if Mulholland Drive, great film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0166924/
Lynch is probably my favourite Director so i'm not going to disagree, I have a personal preference for Lost Highway.
Watched worlds end last night. Was good. Stay tuned for more in depth analysis for the next film I watch.
Took the kids to see The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug in 3D on Sunday - very enjoyable - pretty amazing special effects ...
I loved the first one contrarily to all the critics who were bitching about it. Would you say this one's quite similar in style or a different kind of film?
Brilliant stuff and so different for him, a great film and a great one to start with for anyone who hasn't watched his films, just be aware that it gets strange from there on in.
I watched "Shame" last night Michael Fassbender plays a character who runs about masturbating all the time. It's fairly entertaining though I doubt I will use the works loo again.
Moneyball: I liked it but then I do like Baseball. Not much of interest for non baseball fans. Gravity: Very Good indeed.
