Shaquille McDonald

Evening Posh fans,

We have taken Shaquille McDonald on trial. I hear that you guys released him from a four year contract, but it had nothing to do with his performance.

What can you tell us about him?

I'll vouch for Elland .... he is a friend not foe

OPP .... told him that you have watched the youngster more than me

 

He and some other players got into serious trouble, apparently over someone's girlfriend. A weapon (believed to be a baseball
bat) was used.

He was effectively sacked for this misconduct.

He is a good footballer with a good goal scoring record and great potential and is highly rated by our Chairman.

If he can overcome his immaturity and lack of self-control (given he is only 17) then if you do take him on, with the
right coaching and mentoring he will IMO prove to be a valuable asset.

It would be a real shame if he didn't reach his potential

Our chairman has a good eye for talent

 

Leeds have cancelled the trial

I'm sure we'll find out why in due course.

 

McDonald clearly likes the County but he obviously wanted a bigger club than Leeds as he has signed for York
