The All Nations Sports & Cultural Association formed at the end of the WWII. It was a bit like the school exchange system we have now between different countries, only this was for athletes from England and Holland forming friendships through the medium of Sport. Belgium joined in 1950, after The Borough of Hammersmith and Ghent linked up. The hope was to get other countries to join in, but it fizzled out towards the end of the Fifties.
