Al Capone plays for Spurs? There'll be blood! I'm guessing Sandro would have played instead of Sig if he was fit.
A bit light on defensive qualities but the most balanced side I've seen this season. Who's on the bench?
True but how hard is it realistically to balance a 442 formation…? Umm… well bleedin' hard if your name's AVB apparently.
Yeah, I wanted to see the same. I dislike 442 unless it uses someone who's not an out and out striker in one of the "2" roles, like VDV or Bale.
I would also like to see how Lamela would do in the centre, teaming him up with eriksen or Holtby might be just what we need
I swear it's the age-old situation when a new boss comes in amidst chaos and confusion: play 442 and drill the defence. Let's see how it goes. I'm quite excited to see two up top, to be honest.
Sorry, I don't like that lineup at all. It strikes me as reacting as strongly as possible against AVB more than a serious attempt to pick our best side. The good news is the back four, with Chiriches and Rose back; and the fact that it's certainly set up to score. I said earlier that 9 of our best 11 are pretty clear ATM, though, and this departs wildly from that, though it's granted we can't start 2/3 of Paulinho, Sandro and Dembele in the "2" since one is injured and another's suspended. Still, I don't see any excuse for AGAIN not starting our best player the last few weeks, nor starting a front two that have never, ever, worked with each other. If you have to start a front two, I would have gone with Ade and Soldado, who have the virtue of not being a proven failure. I don't mind Gylfi getting a start, though I probably would have gone with Eiriksen. I would have gone with: Dembele Holtby/Eirikson Chadli Eiriksen/Holtby Lennon Soldado That has most of the group that was looking like it was starting to, uh, play symbiotically before Liverpool. The last thing I thought we needed was another wild departure from that. Hope I'm wrong. COYS!
I'm watching this one. It's good to OK http://cricfree.tv/aljazeera-sport- 10-live-stream.php Aljazeera have apologised for a poor picture; I haven't noticed
