    A Football Chairman isn't in it for a popularity competition, his job is to run the football Club in the manner that he thinks will keep it succesful, otherwise there wouldn't be any point in doing it. As I said, there was a poster on the DE site who constantly posted bad mouthed posts which only gave the impression that the character had a massive chip on his shoulder, he never explained what the problem was, and seldom responded to reasoned argument, in fact he posted frequently and never followed it up until the next bile filled entry. He must have been reported umpteen times, but never as far as I know, was banned, but suddenly disappeared when the Club was doing rather well.

    One reason I'd count him in the WUM corner is that he has the WUM's typical modus operandi: he drops his hand grenade in here then doesn't enter into debate, doesn't respond to any counter points, just repeats his claims then scarpers.

    Well if he intended to create negativity he has failed miserably, it seems that most of us are on the same wavelength?

    I don't know if I do. He's made 27 posts, 26 of them are anti-Cortese (and one which was refusing to praise Pochettino). He's either extremely obsessively agenda-driven, or a troll.

    The former for me. Same thing as GMI - he wasn't a "troll" as such, he just had stupid opinions and enjoyed arguing.

    He hasn't broken any of the Forum rules guys as far as I can see. So agree with TSS. However It is another matter altogether about not wanting to read his negative views!!!
    Would suggest just letting the thread die out.........
