He is entitled to an opinion, but most of us either disagree or can't see a problem. Even if Nicola is ghastly (which I'm not saying he is), none of us have to invite him to dinner.

 

FLT has had dinner with him if memory serves. Her's probably very good company. Just a very driven person, luckily for us!

 

So we have to ask FLT if he, at any time, wanted to ram Nicola's head in the soup.

 

Much as I disagree with the opinion, redstripe76 hasn't broken or even bent any rules. I think it might be in RS76's best interests to either stay off the forum and read posts or find a forum which might be a little more accommodating.

We've been accused before on this forum of being happy-clappies. I don't see that at all. What the vast majority of people see here is a club going through one of its better times, and possibly moving towards its best ever times. We all realise that the person or person's driving that along don't have to be the most wonderful people on the planet, and we're happy-clappy with that, overall.

I think that sort of sums us lot up. If redstripe76 can find common ground there, then all well and good.

I'd agree with you but the problem for me is the monomaniacal nature of the posts. Never a word about the squad or a comment about a game, just this drip, drip poison about one subject, Nicola Cortese. It's unique in my experience to post so negatively and only on one subject. Would someone who is claiming to have a longstanding relationship with the club not have anything at all, ever, to say about, say Rickie Lambert or whether we're better off with Cork or Wanyama in midfield? You can insert anything that's ever been discussed on this site into that sentence, as Redstripe doesn't have an opinion on anything bar Nicola Cortese. Very odd, and it suggests something wrong, either in his mental state or in having some directed agenda.
