BBC have a two-part drama on the Great Train Robbery starting tonight as well, a weird coincidence...
This was recorded during the months that the Pistols were busy falling apart. Vicious was completely out of the picture, being consumed by heroin. Rotten had been abandoned in LA with no money and no future having stormed off stage after declaring he was having no fun. No One Is Innocent was just Jones and Cook doing McLaren's bidding to try to make enough music for The Great Rock n Roll Swindle. The lyrics are crass but I rather like the tune. The B side was worse - Sid singing My Way. Then he left the Pistols and a while later the world but not before recording two of the greatest cover versions of all time in Cochran's Something Else and C'mon Everybody.
Why anyone would post just to be disrespectful to a classic british lend is beyond me. There's some proper scumbags on here. Give the man the respect he deserves, or just say nothing. Better than spouting vile drivel about a deceased man.
They were only formed to sell trousers, revolutionised popular culture forever, then ended up doing this ****!
