Nowt to do with football. National Lottery

Does anyone know of anybody who has won the £20,000 prize draw?
Of all the people i know, work beside their friends etc. No one has heard of anyone winning.
Since this was introduced the prizes have been crap. Wonder if the whole thing is a con.
Like the thing that used to be on the programmes, you scratched off and won a prize. No one won anything as far as i can remember.

 

I think since the lottery began I've won around £20, in total. I have also never, ever met anyone who's won anything "significant".

 

Once again, the biggest winners are the fat cats that sit on their arse's creaming the top off the punters money whist doing nothing for it. A major con that should be taken over by the Government and they aren't exactly cleaner than clean, or whiter than white.

If a horse in a race was 14000000/1 would you stick your quid on it? This horse would have to have only 3 legs to be 14000000/1.

 

I'd sooner bet on a 14000000/1 three-legged horse than the feckin Lottery!!!

 

At least the horse just drinks water and eats carrots, so it wouldn't be taking too much out of the prize money.

 

D'you know what? It's getting fecking worse. It's everywhere you turn. HS1, HS2, Heathrow Expansion, British Gas/Energy profits, BoJo and his "greed is good" speech. What suffers? Public infrastructure. Brilliant.

 

There's just something inherently dishonest about Britain. It's called money.

Amazing that the next suggestion is the IMPORTATION of American energy sources!!!!!!!!! Just to keep Britain, home of British Gas, competitive!!!!

Of winning Are slim I know of a few people who have won a decent amount like a qtr of a million.
