I still don't get the yellow circles 2012/2013 by fixtures?

2 points a game is perfect for us at the moment though

 

The yellow fixtures are a comparison to the games we've played. IE, last season result versus Team A compared to this season result. If we lost to them last season but won this then we are three points better off

 

I don't remember us losing 6 games in a row last year (fixtures 20-25)

 

They're not in the order of last years fixtures, they're in this years order as its a comparison to the same game but a gauge of this seasons progress.

The five losses could have been spread throughout last year.

 

Those are this year's fixture order, last year we played those games at different times.

The green is the actual order of games last year.

 

Last year we lost 2-1 to Man Utd at Anfield, this year we won 1-0. Look at match three on the chart

 

Ah I'm with you. So after the playing the same teams we played this year we're 7/8 point up on the same fixtures. Not all that great but this next run of 5 games is where we could see real improvements then.

 

The 7/8pts more from the same fixtures as last year after seventeen games is pretty good going IMO.

PS...the promoted/relegated teams are the only difference.
