I refuse to wear anything Burberry or Lacoste but has G-Star Raw now gone the same way? And what about Paul & Shark....... is that the same? The thing is when you get to a certain age you still want to be trendy, I don't want to go to Marks and Spencers for my clobber.
I always like to treat myself to anything by Paul Smith and Dolce & Gabanna. Always a good fit and (normally) nicely understated labelling. Lacoste polo tops are ok for the summer I cringe now when I look at some old pics of me wearing some of my old, loud Moschino shirts. Proper <BARROWMAN> clobber
Dunno about you but GSTAR raw is still ok ... but I'm only 33. You should be going to Oxfam for the grandad suits! Paul & Shark is defo neddy - trendy ned, but stil neddy! Duffer of St George or John Rocha for you ... I tend to shop here - http://www.aspecto.co.uk/l0-mens-fp.html There is a good few items that are neddy/far too young for me, but also have loads of great clothes!

In your 50's rocket and still trying to follow the fashion I'm barely into my late 20's and couldnt give a **** about brands, the only thing I'll fork out extra for is a nice suit for work - and only because I see that as an investment. If a piece of clothing looks nice then it looks nice despite the brand, even if it comes from Primark.
Investment in your career, have to look professional especially when your always meeting new people in business trips.
