i decided to go yesterday ,i do not attend a lot of home games due to my location i do however get to many away games ,i took two friends who are norwich supporters who are now going to stay there until saturdays match (on the lash and a jolly) The crowd was poor and the game was the opposite ,thrilling from start to finish, the fitness was apparent throughout from our players but what impressed was the intent on trying to build through passing and not trying to find jozy with a long ball. At times we did give it away doing so and perhaps on another night would have been punished for it, but at least it seems a game plan is on the agenda, my favorite player aj was replaced (very ordinary again) with borini who looked up for it straight away ,the little man in midfield for us was magical he twists and turns and runs towards players which is something we havent had for ages , all in all a brilliant game and a fantastic result. a really **** journey home but hey we won , saturdays game will be interesting to say the least i wonder what mr houghton is thinking now after watching this one . No need to worry about empty seats for this one.
Well done chaps... If you win the cup, you're bringing home silverware to the proud North East!!! If you lose, you'll be annexed. You can be Yorkshire's disappointment
this must be the biggest confidence booster any team could possibly have before a season changing game imo
The attendance was disappointing for sure but it's a hard reality of economics. The week before Christmas has seen bank accounts emptied and we have a run of league home games to come. That said, I fancy a bumper crowd Saturday for a must win game and also a 40k plus crowd for the semi final.
Gerrin. We were out of our depth until Ki came on. Gardner is ****e. Extra time was fantastic but in real time we had no center midfield and Williem ran the show. How important is Ki? Semifinals beating a stronger Chelsea side without playing as well as a have done. This pleases me, getting results when we're not at our best is important. Not saying we were ****, just not at our best.
Class, the bloke filming that was right next to me over the isle, hilarious, wonder what punishment he'll get for that? Probably charge him with afray
He pissed me off at first, then the lax security pissed me off even more. By the time he was running to the south stand I was really rooting for the lad. Our stewards are a bunch of jobsworths
If he'd been a **** and not there for the crack he could assaulted as many Chelsea players as he liked. Tell you what, Sunderland wise, he was fastest on the pitch
The time it took them to react was appaulling, showed them for what they are, spineless dickheads, your the same as me mate, once he took off i was laughing my heed off, a knacker of the highest order but it was funny
He should get at least a fine for taking his shirt off, If its good enough for the players its good enough for him...
