Not sure he has, just called those that thought he was disloyal stupid (or low IQ). Ade has apologised for how it looked.

Redknapp's an ex-Spurs and current QPR manager. He's not going to speak all that highly of someone that's soon to sign for Chelsea. <whistle>

Redknapp has confirmed that Assou-Ekotto and Carroll can both be recalled in January.

Bob, one of your lads started this thread on our Board and it shows the opinions of some Rangers fans. Its a bit of a mixed bag really:

    Bob? Thanks Steve!

Remember what I said to you mate? he will push on second half of the season and most fans don't see the potential of Carroll. Its much easier for dynamic players like Walker or Townsend to make an impact as their game is based on speed but with Carroll this is the first time in his career hes 1st choice and playing in a promotion challenging team,

WIth Sherwood now taking over us, he is a massive fan of Carroll, I expect he will be back at the club next year and part of the team and no disrespect to Qpr, he does play better with better players, in a odd way he stands out more when surrounded by quality players.

But I know he will improve in the second half and even if he doesn't set the world alight then he will be back with us and ready to push on.

Yes, I would agree with that totally. I was basically saying the same thing to you earlier in this thread although I was coming at it from a different angle, IE that the Championsh*t is such a scrappy league he'd be more suited to Prem football.

Pop onto the thread on our Board and give us your views Boss (not Bob!!) and anyone else who might like to. It'd be great to have your input fellas. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Assou-Ekotto's in QPR's lineup for their game at the City Ground, which has just kicked off.
He's joined by fellow loanee Carroll and ex-Spurs players Zamora, Jenas and Kranjcar. Forest also feature one of our old players in Fat Andy Reid.

QPR lose 2-0 but both Ekotto and Carroll played 90 minutes. Carroll was unlucky not to score.

Jenas and Niko also played the full 90 minutes.

QPR are struggling at the moment for goals but still 3 points off the top.

BAE is much better than Danny Rose and all the other left backs at Spurs atm.

Loaning him out was one of many mistakes by AVB.

  16. I've got to say that I would rather we stuck with Rose than brought Benny back.

I don't see it as an either or situation, especially given Rose's injury problems so far this season. Recall Assou-Ekotto and have both at our disposal. Loan Fryers to QPR if they need someone.

Not talking about ditching Rose just about having our best LB available for selection.

I think that Assou-Ekotto and Rose both offer something different at left-back and who's better might depend upon how we're set up for a game.
In our current 4-4-2 I think that Assou-Ekotto is better suited, but if we were to switched to a 4-2-3-1, then it would probably be a better fit for Rose.
Given our recent problems in that role, it'd be nice to have a bloody choice, frankly!
