QPR manager Harry Redknapp unlikely to welcome back Adel Taarabt from Fulham loan QPR manager Harry Redknapp has admitted he is unlikely to take back midfielder Adel Taarabt after his loan at Fulham ends. The Cottagers took the Moroccan international on a season-long loan in the summer, but he has only started three Premier League games and has scored just once, against Burton Albion in the Capital One Cup. The 24-year-old fell out of favour with Redknapp over the summer, with the manager seemingly blaming the player's attitude. "I just want good lads who go to bed early and get up in the morning, come to training, and earn their thousands of pounds per week," Redknapp told the Fulham Chronicle. "I want those that think of other people who don't earn a fiftieth of what they earn. "Adel's at Fulham. They're in trouble and Adel's not playing, and that must be disappointing. "Maybe he's got to find himself another club. Whether we take him back or not is debatable. "Would he get the message back here at QPR? He went to Fulham and I don't know if he got the message there." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9077765/? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- That puts this to bed then I suppose.
Im 100 per cent certain that whilst Harry Redknapp is manager of our team we will not see Adel in our first team. How do I know ? Because I met Harry recently and he told me why and although I was a great admirer of Adel on the field for the things he can do I fully understand the reasons he gave.
All the usual double talk from Harry; just wait and see, he will be back as captain for the Doncaster match....
Still can't understand how some people can't see the sense in what the Manager has said about the lad there. How long will it take for the penny to drop?
Adel is one of the most talented players I've ever seen live, but if he has lost the plot to the extent that it seems, then he only has himself to blame for his fall from grace. What a waste!!
Harry knows how to use the media This has to be exactly a call to Adel to shape up and there's a way back I hope it happens as if it was to happen ... Water under the bridge then a fired Adel could be exactly the missing bit in a very good side out together by Harold I am certain that Adel would do well with this team and simply grow He made a mistake Come home
No offence Shenley, but unless you have some role at the club or are a personal friend of Harold's, I think H is bang out of order telling you anything about Adel that he would not be prepared to say to the media. He was similarly loose lipped to a mate of mine (a Sunderland fan) a couple of weeks after he joined us ("QPR fans? Never met one") in a check in queue at Newcastle Airport. All I know is that the glimpses Adel gives us of pure genius are what I watch football for. If he doesn't fit in with the team, if his head and attitude aren't right, if he doesn't do what his boss wants, I can quite understand that he won't be wanted and will struggle everywhere in a results above all league. But that does not detract from the entertainment he has given me.
We should all be thankful to Mr Redknapp for getting rid of the wronguns, and building us a team with real spirit! Forget him lads , get behind the team and stop posting this tedious crap!
No good on you, you're the only one on here who's football knowledge comes close to mine , a shining light among the negative numptys, pretentious prats and angry little men from Staines! Not bad for a bog trotter ;-) Love Harold xxxxx LOL etc
IMO he is worth it from a footballing point of view. I think LR would be lifted by any possible return... I can only hope it happens ... with Harold why not say nothing at all? I am a firm believer that Harold uses the press to push forward the odd Harold agenda once in a while, come to think of it ... on a daily basis. The press love Harold and he loves them ... he claims to not use social media yet in effect does the same thing in a old fashioned but more effective way. Think about it does any other manager court his opinion or is asked his opinion more than Harold ... He knows this and uses it very well Holloway on Pulis? Mourinho on Real? Hughes on Harold? We have a manager, chairman and a midfield player all using the medias. we on here are a active part of Not 606 QPR ... We are mass debaters
