Surely you need to see the replacement before making that call? I want MM to stay because I think we will stay up with him in charge, but there is no reason to believe a new man may not have a positive effect, whilst there is obviously potential for a negative effect. MM seems to be doing a very good job with the resources at his disposal but so was Adkins last season, or so it seemed. I'm not sure why I'm having to explain that life goes on after any manager to Swansea fans though!
Malkys time with us is now very limited. I expect him to be shown the door. He has done well of us but he isn't the best manager around, there are plenty of managers out there that could do a job for us and keep us up. The problem we will have is recruiting someone of better quality given the press coverage on VT.
Normally yes, but who would want the job knowing that Tan rules everything at the club? Of course you could end up with an appointment that takes you to the next level. But would you be surprised if you have a manager with very limited footballing experience too.
Recent "bad " publicity may hinder finding a replacement but if the money on offer is acceptable then who knows who they may attract .Although I would imagine there's been someone waiting in the wings for awhile now.Is he (Tan) egotistical enough to think he can put 11 players on the park , or wait, I suppose he is
Cheers mucker. I gathered he was simple, just wondering what's the tolerance level with the scummers here, just for future reference.
One part of this I really don't buy is that other managers will be scared off by Tan. The club is a great opportunity, it has given MM the platform to take his managerial stock up a fair few levels. If he does go/leave/get pushed etc. we will have a queue form for the chance to manage in the most popular league in the world.
But with Tan pulling the strings and possibly undermining the manager would you ? , managers if not tactually astute normally are image wise .Limited funds and squad may not be that attractive.
Hopefully they will get through this and whether malky stays or goes i hope they stay up. We have had our share of bad times so we cant gloat....Tan won't stay much longer with all the bad press he is getting anyway, maybe another season tops but at the end of the day he put his money where his mouth was and got them to the premiership. The changes and the controversial actions by his views and ways is really a small price to pay while he is here and can always be reversed when someone else takes the helm, So there is good and bad points concerning tan..,,He wont be there for ever so i hope like us they can weather the storm and survive the season....good luck to our cousins i say..
So when he wants his money back I wonder who's going to pay , yes great benefactor, wish we had one ,not.
Exactly. "he put his money where his mouth was and got them to the premiership. " No. This is a common misconception, and I heard that ****ing idiot Darren Gough say something similar a while back on Talk ****e Radio. He loaned them a lot of money and arranged for some of their debt to be written off. It would be a financial disaster if he pulled the plug. They have spent big since their arrival and it hasn't paid off.
Why would I be bitter? I only deal in facts Dai This from the Cardiff board: "But would Tan walk away with £150m owed to him? It would be the same issue as Sam's loan notes unless VT has done what he promised and converted loans into shares."
Now let's think here. Bricks thrown at me, coins thrown at me and I better not forget being spat at. Yes I think I've got every reason to be bitter towards the house of horrors. Don't see any point in telling lies or being diplomatic I can't stand them, never have and I never will. Don't be mistaken anyone they feel exactly the same way about us
MM wont/cant walk, if he does he'll lose bonuses due to him for getting into the prem. Currently, Tan can get MM to suck his d*** on the Canton end penalty spot if he wanted and MM still wouldn't leave. What will probably happen is we'll see in the new year; after 4 more losses, a press release stating MM has left the Championship bound re-branded Malysian Dragons under mutual consent. Meaning, Tan sacked him but re-negotiated his compensation package. I understand that Tan is scouring the small ads at the back of the Malay Mail for a suitable replacements. To move things on Tan contacted Alf after reading his ad.
