Well that's that then! Clearly there can be no disputing there is a massive break down between Chairman and Manager, MM must be on the short list of a good few clubs now, he's a great young manager in the making, and it will be a massive loss for Cardiff!...............
His position is surely untenable now. He needs to cut his losses, resign and sue for constructive dismissal.
He will go now and nobody can blame him. The cardiff fans know this anyway and like everyone else have been expecting MM to leave. Its a shame as he has done well so far for them but its the principle that is at stake here..Tan may live to regret when he does go...
No one's going to "get the better of" Tan, even if he ruins the club in the process. A real megalomaniac.
Who really cares , they knew what they were buying into when they brought him to the club .Malky will survive without cardiff but will cardiff survive without him
Just as a matter of interest, if MM walks, and Laudrup gets poached, would you consider MM as your manager? I know 'Arry went from Pompey to Southampton.
No way on earth! He has to be respected for what he has achieved getting them there but I've never seen a Malky Mackay team play the kind of football we demand down here...it's about the style. Also, he is not a proven Premier manager. He's spent £50 million and puts 11 behind the ball week in week out for **** sake! When we came up we spent £10-15m in total and still took the game to the opposition and never flirted with relegation....that's what I judge his performance against.
No - he's a decent manager but there are better around. He spent a lot of money so as much as I dislike Tan and owners like him he has a point. He also plays far too conservatively for my liking. No thanks. But I'm convinced that this is yet another ploy by the ever devious Mr Tan (sorry but he's increasingly reminding me of Fu Manchu) to get Malky to resign. Nothing to do with the fact that there is a recent vacancy at the Baggies, surely?
No like laudrup malky don't play our system. Don't worry jinks will have a few candidates penciled in by now and it wont be a name we associate with the usual candidates...They will be in the same framework as martinez and rodgers who are advocates of the system we play or should i say use to play...
While Im a Swans fan it would be a lose to welsh football if Cardiff were to get Relagated we need to have Derbys it is good for both clubs , The supporters would rather we play each other yr in yr out.Plus all the banter, Don't think Mackay would suit our style of play Tan is a rissole if they go down he's going to pull the plug you watch, Plus the fans could make him leave the club and maybe buy the club like we Swans did.
Cardiff City: Malky Mackay 'will not resign' after owner's criticism http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25416854 Looks likes he's angling for a sacking.
Personally speaking I wouldn't miss them and I'm sure that feeling would be reciprocated by them , how its a loss to Welsh football is not a question I fully understand , at this level all we're doing is potentially furnishing another country's national squad .if we were both lower league then I would say yes possibly but how many in Cardiff's team are playing for Wales ?, if Ash & Ben ( I only picked them because of previous rumours) were to move on the thats two from our squad gone ..The major benefit for us is the money from the PL is being ploughed back into the club via the infrastructure (Academy/ Fairwood but can that be said about cardiff I couldn't say.
If he walks then it couldn't happen to a nicer club. The sooner they are relegated the better. If anyone thinks that they would not think the same then you are mistaken.
