I think the HDM said 500 in the TigerLair. Sounds like it was a success and a good time was had by all. I would have gone myself if there had been a decent ska / reggae band on. Have a good day what ever your views / opinions.
Sky filmed it, the Daily Telegraph had a reporter there, Look North had a reporter and cameraman there, we also did interviews from the meeting with the Wall Street Journal and Burnsy did a piece for Humberside from outside. The HDM didn't send anyone as far as I'm aware. The HDM and Humberside are not giving us nearly as much coverage as the nationals, I assume they're nervous about losing access to players etc.
Thanks for finally showing your true colours. Yes that was a snide remark, the rest weren't. I don't live in Hull, or even up North, so I haven't seen anything. As per my original, non snidey request, I was just wondering, as you appear to have an active PR team, where stuff had been written about the event. You seem quite happy to be quoted in the press, so nothing being on the blog seemed odd. Nothing more, nothing less. In response to that I get the usual cretins throwing abuse, and then you join in. I think anyone who supports our football team needs more consideration, christmas or not. Thankfully OLM managed to answer my question, so cheers for that OLM.
So if you don't even live up north how often do you get to games? Do you have a season pass? Do you have any proof you've ever attended a live game? You are slowly revealing your true colours as a wum who most probably never has attended a game and most probably supports Man Ure and just comes on here to try and make themselves feel important.
Thanks for the explanation, it now makes more sense. I thought you were criticising the person writing the blog. There are plenty of photos on Facebook and Twitter.
Eh? No. Why would I do that? I was after reading "official" reports to guage how the campaign is going and to see what support you were getting locally and nationally media wise. The blog seems to be updated with news releases and info quite often so there being nowt there on what was billed as huge struck me as odd. Apology accepted. Well I'm obviously important to you Terry. I know of at least one game I made a huge effort to go to that you watched online.
No problem. Next time you want some news rather than opinion please just ask politely. The people involved in the campaign have given up enormous amounts of their free time, including the person doing the blog. A little forethought and a bit of consideration goes a long way.
Bloody hell, are there any feet hanging out of Happy's mouth; it read like a reasonable question to me.
This is a real concern; are these ugly buggers what I have signed up to? There are at least two aliens in there - you know who you are.
Young? lol you're even more mistaken Tel. I did ask politely. You did not respond politely. You also appear to have read into my question what you wanted to, and if even Fez can say the following quote, you were wrong. You might want to practise what you preach. I'd also remind you that you're giving up some of your time for your own reasons. Dr Allam has risked his, and his families, future and hard earned fortune on you. Thank you Fez. It really was. I know some on here would just read what I've typed and jump to their own stupid conclusions about what I meant but I sadly thought more of Obi before his personal digs and standard for this forum crap.
I don't mean this in any nasty way, Happy, but I read it the "wrong" way also. Perhaps your reputation precedes you. Aplogies for thinking ill of your enquiry.
Nah - he's a shrewd businessman (as you regularly state. I reckon he is, too). He's not a gambler, so don't talk such crap.
I'm not sure if my intention was clear. I apologise for misunderstanding your three posts. I will make sure it doesn't happen again.
Look North were there and it was on last night's show. But why the frig should it have media publicity? It was a meeting. If the media turned up every time a pub held an event there'd be no time for owt else on telly. Over 1,000 now according to AN, or am I misunderstanding this?: http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2013/12/things-we-think-we-think-126/
