    Colocinni is most likely I think. He has been captain a few times this season, but I hope its Taylor. Love that man,

    not sure why Saylor is getting this many votes - wasn't so long ago that there was a debate between who should start between him and Williamson. In my opinion it has to be someone whose name is always going to be on the teamsheet. Unless we have a squad captain ala Smith and a team captain ala Nolan in which case a squad captain of Haper and a team captain of either Coloccini, Tiote or Cabaye

    I would have said no to Carroll if he'd still been here, not quite mature enough for me also an awful lot of time off for injury. Coloccini reads a game well, but seems a very introverted person so although one of my favourite players not my first choice. With the team we have at present, probably Steven Taylor.

    What about Cabaye if he learns the English game quickly and is popular. A CM is usually a good captain.

    That's the thing at the moment, we still don't know who's coming or going. I really hope there are no surprises like last transfer window.

    Well yeah obviously but I thought his £80 million + messi transfer to Barcelona was a done deal so he most probably wont be here next season.
