    As reported by David Mc

QPR could lose Benoit Assou-Ekotto following Tottenham’s sacking of Andre Villas-Boas.

The left-back joined Rangers on a season-long loan after being frozen out at White Hart Lane by the former Chelsea boss.

There has been speculation that he could therefore make a sooner-than-expected return to the north London club now Villas-Boas has gone.

And there is an agreement in the loan deal enabling Spurs to recall him if they choose to.

It's almost certain he'll be recalled when the new manager is appointed, it was a bad decision to loan him out in the first place. Welcome back Traore!

Not sure about recall clauses, but off the Tottenham Hotspur F.C. wiki:-

We've also got Hill who can cover LB:emoticon-0107-sweat

In fact if could play both Hill & Traore together we'd still be lacking what BAE brings, really, really hope it doesn't happen.

It would make a huge difference to our season if we lost him. We've only got Clint Hill, Suk Young Dik and Traore to cover. Hill did a good job before BAE turned up but the other two don't convince me.

Well he is a Spurs player can't see the fuss. Don't go fickle lads. It will be what it will be and Traore if required is a very good player ... We have options that other sides can only dream about
The side is built and playing a solid game
BAE IMO looks a hoop and we can only hope he starts to feel one
I admire him not playing under AVB who would ?
AVB doesn't deserve to be in football IMO
