    Hoddle.

    It's possible.

I imagine someone like Hiddink though, on a temporary until the season ends.

Sorry but that's balls. Capello at club level stands right at the top with Jose. Is Klinnsman in the list? I can see it if they wait post World Cup.

That's a long wait - who takes over in the meantime? Can't see them going for the out of work but always available Iain Dowie :D Don't think they'd want an interim either to be honest. If not Laudrup what about them going for Mackay?

Well Capello is favourite and there's no way he'll leave before the World Cup. They did qualify didn't they?!?

He could do both. Hiddink did when at Chelsea.

AVB did well to get to monday after yesterdays poor effort. Surprised that he was allowed to leave WHL sunday night still in charge ?

Spurs last 5 home PL games have been very very poor overall with just 2 draws and 3 defeats. Spurs 0 v. West Ham 3, Spurs 0* v. Hull City 0, Spurs 0 v. Newcastle 1, Spurs 2 v. Man Utd 2, Spurs 0 v. Liverpool 5.

NB. *Correcttion. The 0 was replaced with a 1 after cheating ref.Michael Oliver gave a penalty for no reason.

Not the sort of home form a club that has spent over £100m on should be serving up.

I read that he had the best win percentage of any previous Spurs manager so can only presume something is wrong behind the scenes.

They set up to draw every game and sneak a goal through one of the many flair players they have. I'd lump on Soldado for Fantasy Football teams when a new manager is announced as you can bet Levy will want someone to go out and form a tactic based on the free playing football of yesteryear.

I think their squad it too big, with too many players to rotate

They have Lamela, Chadli, Lennon and Townsend to fill two wide slots
In the middle they have Dembele, Paulinho, Sigurdsson, Holtby, Sandro, Eriksen and Capoue - it's all too much to keep players motivated

Watch for 2-3 to me moved on in the window to fund a striker to partner Soldado

Rather than saying he spent £100m surely its fairer to judge a manager on what he spends net? Ok then, I'll flip it - it's exactly the form you'd expect of a team that sold £100m of talent in the summer.

I think Roberto Di Matteo will go to Spurs. I think that team suits Di Matteo's style.

Although Hoddle is a possible dark horse.

Then again, with Zola resigning at Watford, he'd also be in contention.

Gianfranco, nor for that matter Budd, will be in contention for Spurs

Why not? Stranger things have happened and he brings a really nice style of football.

I can't help but feel Poyet might regret not waiting for this one.

Hoddle has confirmed interest in the job, even if it just a short term role.

Glad I put money on it at dinner time now, it looks like a decent shout now.

Would you win with that? Arent bets on managers 'next permanent manager'? And what's with this going backwards idea that is being mooted for both Spuds and WBA? Hoddle and Di Matteo werent good enough for them previously so why are they now?

I just had a thought, since his team have been knocked out the club world cup then all of a sudden Marcello Lippi might be interested.
