    I did because I know how our pathological Chairman operates but I'm not patting myself unless it leads to a mindblowingly good replacement so I'll reserve my self-gratification for now thanks. We might all be back on here in a few days arguing over the latest 'acquisition' wishing for AVBs return!

    Most people who said yes would have at some point claimed Avb was the right man, and the people voting no mostly wanted him gone asap. I knew he was wrong for us the moment he arrived and have never wanted him at the club long term but certaintly not patting myself on the back for being right as this is just another example of the club making a mistake (in hiring avb) after sacking a manager alot of people slated and now can't bring themselves to admit we miss.

    Anyhow, hes gone now and the board need to get this next appointment right but there is every chance we could end up with another Avb or Ramos, as thats just what we do, make mistakes.

    I think I could live with no CL in May 2013, but not having to hear the "punching above our
    weight" , "Modric and VDV sold" selective whining. And then getting sacked.

    If there is a pattern, much to be optimistic about, no.

    Aslong as we have a manager with a proper name, it will be a plus! Lol.....how can anyone take "AVB" serious? that was a joke in itself!

    Right now I'd take a manager with a name beginning with "H". Hiddink or Hoddle.
