I wish Brendan was still with us thats for sure but he deserved a bigger club and he ain't half proving most jacks wrong in a short space of time. liverpool have improved under him while we have got worst since he left....that proves what a good manager he is...
Oh stop with the Rodgers love-in already! He did well with us and deserved a crack at a big club and he's doing great with them fair play but he also has immense resources at his disposal too, just remember that. He's in a position where he can make some dud signings at £15M a pop (ie Borini) then drop them if they don't work but if he makes just one that clicks for them (ie Sturridge) then he's a hero. Our little Club can't do that so whoever our manager happens to be has to manage limited resources well. For me the mark of a good manager is not just one who can win trophy after trophy with a massive club as SAF did but also one who can make his players the best they can be and thereby push his team to its maximum level with limited funds. Laudrup did that last season by beating our position under Rodgers and winning a cup and taking us into Europe (Rodgers didn't achieve that either). That's a fact Dai whether you like it or not.
