The fans and now it seems the owner have delusions of grandeur...thinking they can do better...the drop for them now
AVB will be next. Getting smashed 5-0 at home With the money they spent they don't look anything like they should. I don't think everyone is pulling in the same direction
I'm worried about them approaching McD. Although I think it'll only be a matte rof time before a prem team offer Dyche a job. I'd imagine he'd take it as well because not many people beleve he can keep it going at Burnley
Weird how things have turned out for Dyche. Sacked by Watford for a bigger name manager He is doing a great job for Burnley They was the first team to come here and give us a game this season Leeds was a snorefest, Forest was a smash and grab and they then just locked the back door Everyone else has sat back and tried to hold us out
I agree, we were playing like that early season though, getting the 1 or 2 goals and holding out at the back with generally limited chances for both teams. I think it'd be a good game if we played you guys now though with the much much more exciting style we are playing and we are scoring now as well. Amazingly we were one of the lowest scoring teams in the league (down there with relegation teams) in the first 2 months or so and now we are joint second (with you guys) and have the top scorer in the league by a long way.
Not really as Pearson only has 6 months left on his contract, could get him for peanuts, rather than paying off a 2.5 year BmcD contract
McDermott's Premiership record - P29 W5 D8 L16 17% win rate AVB's win record Chelski 47.5% Spurs 55% I think you can stop worrying Josh
West Brom will go for AVB or Roberto Di Matteo (again) before Pearson IMHO ... Brian McDermott has shown hat he can take a team to the Prem but then found it difficult to keep them there - now admittedly that is still more than Nigel has done to date, but I think they are both 'no goers' ... just my opinion.
If you were looking at pure cost and convenience then yes you would be right but I doubt that'd be the only factor involved when they are selecting a new manager Because the job he has done at leeds so far has been unbelievably good. He has converted a ****ty warnock team that couldn't pass to save their lives and just panicked everytime they had the ball into a very well structured defensive unit that are almost free flowing when going forward. He has is getting the best out of players who just couldn't perform last year and he has spent a fraction of what Warnock did. Also look at his ability to pick signings (ignore what TC says) he has signed very very well with each player (barring Hunt who has been injured since he joined) contributing very well towards the team. Compare him to Pearson who has been spending money (maybe not this season) at you guys for a while now and hasn't actually done anything at your club other than scrape you into the play-offs when realistically you should've been promoted years ago. I really don't rate Pearson personally and I doubt many people outside of Leicester do. Anyway, as I said initially I would expect them to approach Dyche if they approached anyone from the championship. What does any of this have to do with spurs... and they are in very different circumstances aren't they I don't think AVB will go there to be honest, he probably thinks too highly of himself. I reckon WBA are the kind of club to look at up and coming managers from lower down the footballing pyramid. Although Di Matteo isn't a bad call though
