Judging from yesterdays game you'd think there were miles between us and Spurs. But that is not really the truth. After our 5 goal win you could say we are better than Spurs in every position. But looking at both teams squads, how many Spurs players would get in our team and how many of our players in Spurs if our squads merged? I reckon it would still be pretty even. Keeper, could pick either but I'll say Mignolet. RB - Johnson RCB - Not spoilt for choice here - Skrtel LCB - When fit, Vertonghen LB - Enrique, when fit. DM - Sandro CM - Tricky pick, after yesterday - Henderson - But Gerrard, Debele or Paulinho could go in. RF - Townshend LF - Coutinho FR - Sturridge FR - Suarez
rather have Toure and Agger love to have Townsend, quality player,Paulinho havent seen much to judge on, but Brazilian? obviously has skill and technique, out the 4 choices for CM, any of them could easily be there, so have to give a spurs player a position at least lol. never thought i would be saying that at start of season, they on paper have a very strong squad.
It's more than just individuals. On paper their midfield is miles better, but for me they're all too similar, they desperately need Eriksen to find some form.. Unfortunately I think with an attacking manager he could potentially get more out of this team.

Walker??? I think he's absolute pash and not a patch on Johnson, who has gone off the boil a bit recently but he's still a class above Walker

I honestly would not have any spurs players in my team. Sandro might make my bench but he would be the only one I would consider.
I think Sandro is currently better than Lucas - without Sandro Spurs would have been extra ****ed this season. Before Lucas had his injury (and if he regains that form) he is hands down a better player.
I've always thought Dembele was a good physical presence in midfield,didn't play well yesterday though.
Absolutely. He's no Beckenbauer on the ball, but Lord I feel better now at set-pieces and corners. Should be Sakho + another from now on. Indeed, though it's early days I see him as a future captain.
GOT to have Sterling on that bench instead of Lennon. If Sterling could finish he'd be in the £30m bracket.
