http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/spurs-fans-hit-out-avb-2931366 The moronic Spurs fans strike again!!
The mancs were going nuts at some Yank chic called Ashley Williams over RvP "nearly getting killed" that time
I'll give it HIAG though, he nailed it on the head before kickoff, he said Spuds would get hammered, not just lose
The only comments that don't come back to haunt him are when the light bulb flickers on and he realises that Spurs are ****e.
Spuds can't even do angry without making themselves look like idiots - again. All hail the spuds and long live AVB, such good value for making us laugh
Was coming really. They made the mistake of bringing too many new players in at the same time and AVB simply didn't have the time to bed in. This could go both ways, if they get a good manager in then things could be different.....
I would have liked to see him stay a bit longer and drag them down further to be honest. But with his compensation package, that's probably around 150m now pissed up the wall in the space of a few months
The spuds board obviously want top four and they are going to sack any manager who can't deliver that. Trouble is, who can they get in who will be able to deliver? For all of his gaffes I don't think AVB was that bad. I think it was a combination of him and the board wasting **** loads of cash on average players, because they panicked when Bale left and thought that they had to get top four at any cost. They have tried to buy top four and failed spectacularly and now AVB is the fall guy. Whoever comes in has got a poisoned chalice of a job, because I can't see them displacing Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Utd or Everton for a top four spot. So they are setting him up to fail.
I'm gutted he's gone. Gutted. A performance that sh*te was something special and I wanted to see how far it could go. At least until after the FA Cup match was my bare minimum!
Depends whether they want to plan for next season or not. If they get a manager in with the task of getting them top 4 this season then it's only going to end one way
Hiddink? If he's willing to come to Spurs on a temp basis then this could really make the difference. But agreed, they did try and buy it and not think too much about implementing it...
So how many managers is that now for Spurs since Wenger's been in charge at Arsenal? Spurs are really a parody of themselves.
