Just watching TV and apparently we spend £55m on turkeys each Christmas. We spoil the feathered ****ers dont we. x
Crazy thing is it's not even a traditional meat for our Christmas. Turkeys are native to the americas and were only available from the 1700s. before that we ate Brawn! Wonder how many people have Brawn this Christmas, not many I bet, sounds ****ing rank.
Funny you should say that Bri i have been watching Tom Kerridge on the box and have just ordered my first pigs head from the butchers fukc knows what i will do with it as i am off down to our lads in lincoln for xmas should be a laugh when the bairns open the bag and expect it to be a xmas prezzie.
Ah. Saw the title and thought you were talking about the England team in the ashes!! Edit: not including Ben Stokes in that. He's doing the north east proud
No mate really ordered one, ears boiled slow cut into strips and roasted for dips, cheeks supposed to be the best part of the pig, tongue slowly boiled and brains ( not to sure about this one is supposed to be really good slowly fried in thin slices try them all on our lass and the grandbairns first mind ) i am not that thick. let you know if i come back alive.lol.
Braun Braun braun! : If you're doing canapes you could make brawn Croquettes and trick your christmas guests. http://chestofbooks.com/food/recipes/Cook-County/How-To-Cook-Brain.html#.Uq9JXPRdWUw
Save your money RAW. There's barely enough for 4 on a goose. And nowt left over for anything afterwards!
Shopping with the missus a couple of weeks ago, we were looking at some of the rustic Santa ornaments, she said that she prefers the traditional Santa in red and white and wouldn't believe me when I told her it was the Coca Cola Santa. I'll show her your post Smug, she might believe me now.
Or if I get the chance, I might have cat........................................ Jerry, over to you. xxx
Didn't realise you were from Middlesbro Billy ................. we usually make do with charades, in our house, but what you do is your business Anyway, I hope you and all the Goldsteins have a lovely Christmas dinner
