    My associate speaks highly of the place mate.
    He speaks even more highly of his cabin in Lapland.
    I love the way our conversations go....

    Associate- 'Hey ACS, what you doing this weekend?'
    ACS- ' Off to watch the Toon then back to Consett for a pint'
    ACS- ''How about you mate?'
    Associate- 'well, I'm going to my cabin to go moose hunting and ice fishing and then maybe cross country skiing, then on Sunday we will take the snow mobiles out for 2-300km into the circle'

    A different world.

    He refers to Vodka in the morning as a 'stabiliser' and has taught me a lot about hard liquor. :)

    He also brought me a Finnish beer called Koff (sp?)

    Off up to see him in early 2014 so should be fun.

    Born in Sunderland and last time I saw snow was in 1970 suggest you contact the meteorological office

    Off topic but at present I am watching the cricket from Perth and is just painful utter humiliation of the England team
