... and deservedly so - a mad Leicester City fan who will be at the Man City game this week - on Saturday night Jeff Schlupp and Liam Moore were there supporting her at the live show - well done Sam - hope the fans give a rousing chorus of 'there's only one Sam Bailey' on Tuesday ...

... there were a million of them then ... apparently! She went back to the Eyers Monsell last week - a fair old way from the Isle Of Dogs ... and if Twitter is the source of your wisdom then fair enough - what's her connection to Millwall? - not sure why you are so bitter ... I suspect LCFC will mean far more to Sam for far longer than it will to Nigel Pearson and most of the current first team squad for that matter <laugh>

Bottom line is its car crash TV. Someone from Leicester won, good for her but in what way will it change anything?

As a "fan" of LCFC she is worth no more or no less then any one else.

As said its car crash TV with people with very little to no talent what so ever

If she is from Leicester and won then great but dont mind if I dont throw a party for her

Its hardly unique, some idiot does it every year and then there arent heard from ever again 6 months later. I cant stand X Factor at all and SB IMO has played the City fans. Why would a Leicester fan wear a Millwall shirt?

She has used her brain and is using the "local girl" spin to gain votes from people in Leicester

The only bigger idiots who actually think is a genuine legit talent contest is the idiots who pick the phone up and vote

Simon Cowell lines his pockets while some idiot has had their 15 minutes of fame

Big Brother, X Factor, Britains got Talent, Im a celeb all utter car crash TV

You're like a wet fart at times.

She's from Leicester, can sing and will be successful. Get behind the lass, it's not going to kill you.

Why did you pick the name proud. Are you only Proud of Leicester City and hate everything else connected to your City.
You can't be pleased for somebody from Leicester winning just like you wasn't bothered about Leicester winning the City Of Culture (COC). When Hull won the COC I was over the moon. i was over the moon when Luke Campbell won at the Olympics. Anyway, good luck to her or anybody that can make money and have a career off one of these shows.

    I can´t say I give a ****, but about that Leicester City Ladies badge ? WTF. :emoticon-0108-speec

What I mean is about the show. It´s not my thing & I live in Germany so I don´t even bet to see it.

Just put her up on you tube, WOW. At 35 she´s still got alot of time but WHY didn´t she do it earlier ?

    Good luck to you SB.

PS Sounds abit like Janis Joplin

Pleased for the lass. She promoted our wonderful club a couple of times on that dreadful show. Appeared on Soccer AM with our shirt on. Said that she had played for a number of clubs (inc Millwall) - whether she has or not I don't know and aint bothered. Been an ambassador for us over the last few weeks, and no - I didn't vote, but I will skip my half time *** on Tuesday and give her some support 'She's one of our own .......'.

I hope you were just near your time of the month Proud ... can you sing? I can't ... but I have tremendous admiration for those that can ... and she can, and beautifully ... but just because it's X factor she has no 'legit talent' ??... do me a favour ..

... so she's not a local girl and that was all 'spin' - you truly have a warped sense of loyalty - you are the first to start spouting on about which players 'care for our club' (which is generally bollocks because they only really care for the job that is paying them a fortune - unless they are a local lad being the rare exception) yet someone who has actually paid her own money to watch the team and played for Leicester City Ladies is just some chancer using the 'local girl' thing to win votes - do you really think it was the 'Leicester vote' that won it for her? <laugh>

... the 'idiot' in question has been able to showcase her talent to the nation - arguably the world - she's now living her dream and even if she does only have a short period of 'fame' it is likely to secure her family's financial future ...

... finally, have you never had a girlfriend wear your footie shirt? ... I have - mine at Uni was a Blackburn fan but would gladly wear mine - I bought my current partner (we have two kids) who is a Swansea fan a Leicester shirt for our first Christmas with a rather rude squad number as a joke ... she wore it as a nightshirt ... didn't mean she 'supported' Leicester ... but rewind ... the childish resentment and rather naiive and somewhat elitist pontificating in your denigration of popular TV shows suggests that you have never had a girlfriend wear your footie shirt ... in fact you've probably never had a girlfriend <laugh> ... take a deep breath kiddo your post hints of 'eau de jealousy' and does you little credit ...

... probably gone over the top with my last post but I do have a particular distaste for both TV and Literary 'snobbery' ... we all have our likes and dislikes - I'm not a fan of Soap Operas personally but I wouldn't denigrate people that are ... it's entertainmant ... as sport is at the end of the day and we all have our own preferences ... but is someone watching X Factor and voting (never voted myself by the way - but have enjoyed watching) any more of an 'idiot' or being any more exploited than say a Gamer with a PS4 or XBox spending many hours playing games on a screen? ... - it's all about personal choice ... and what is 'car crash TV' ???? for me it's just a silly phrase that empitomises the snobbery I've already alluded to ... for instance Top Gear is often portrayed as quite cool (I like it myself) but at times it's just a purile adrenalin rush for men and boys still affected by the adolescent rush of super cars that they will never be able to afford and certainly wouldn't be able to drive at the speeds demonstrated on tracks ... but, like most TV, it's about dreams and escapism ... what's X factor about? ... dreams and ecapism perhaps?

... saw her original audition .. said to my other half then "she's from Leicester or at least very close by.." ... also have a soft spot for Eyres Monsell where she used to perform at the social club ... played footie for both EM and Linwood Old Boys in my youth (also Aylestone Park on Sundays) ...

... yes as it transpires - also played for Leicester City ladies ... really not sure where Proud was coming from on this one generally ... was tempted to mention that I've seen Matty James in a Man United shirt before now LOL! ... prsonally I think it's brilliant that she has won - a Leicester lass who gave her all consistantly through the series and ended up winning on merit ... what is there not to admire about that?
