    No amount of money can do that its about tradition and heritage remember. I've often wondered if the CTWD reps when they met with Mr Allam agreed to this. If he shows he may/can and they agreed to it a reason why the minutes wont see the light of day perhaps?

    I didn't even know at the time. When they first played as MK Dons I was 11 and seeing the fixture list at the start of that season was the first I heard of it. I only came to understand the situation years later.

    I didn't say you were standing in the way of progress so I don't know what you mean, but for someone to defend the theft of a football club like that is just mad. Just smacks of a need to be seen being different to me. I can't see any valid reason why someone could defend a club being completely taken from one community and lost forever.

    In response to the thread as a whole - we need to own the stadium and they're happy to sell us it. Allam won't take it out of pride. It's not even about speaking to the council, others have offered to mediate. He just won't take the stadium because it involves dealing with the council - even indirectly. Even forgetting all the name change and insults from Allam, he is holding the club back by refusing to take the stadium on personal grounds when he acknowledges it's what we need most. This needs sorting for the future of the club.

    Enough of this trivial crap.

    Can't we get back to discussing proper stuff like plastic bags on the pitch and putting up sheds?

    Pride Park is a completely different stadium to the Baseball Ground, in Newcastle's case it was different

    this HIJACKING of all threads and turning them into name-change arguments is very petty.

    Can I just point out I don't believe you all to be braindead idiots, this was just an amalgamation of insults used by DA / circa / pi / foreskinless knob over the last month which I used rather childishly to highlight his shortcomings.

    You could have said "...is very PATTY".

    Which would be a pun, and in turn absolutely hilarious.

    I'll explain why it works;

    It's a bit of your username.
    It's only one letter away from 'petty'.

    I think people would still have understood.

    I'll give you that one for free, but you really must up your game now. I can't be online all the time so I can't babysit you.

    You're welcome.

    Party.
