Once again, many thanks. Beth and Staines, there is going to be a way to donate without paypal but as its my sister in law who set up all the sites and fundraising, im not sure when or how. I do know she is tring to set up a charity account and any further developments can be found on the links above. I am currently sat at my daughters bed side (who is heavily sedated) telling her about all the lovely people out there who think she is so special.
Just a thought but has the OP been placed on other busy Not606 boards ? Would like to hope something like this would touch the hearts of all and should generate more support. Honestly bob, it's not a good idea mate. This forum represents the best prospects for this type of situation. Just my opinion though.
IMO, keep away from General Chat but some of the other boards seem ok. Perhaps our mods can sound out the mods from other boards. Can't see a problem to be honest.

have you thought about setting up a just giving page, I know a lot of people that do marathons etc, use this, you can then set a target, just a thought
