I could have moved them around bit to disguise the post but as you're renowned for intelligent , incisive and intelligent posts I assumed everyone would know it was yours the sentiments remain though , a good point today .
Mr Callahan in Birchgrove Juniors was the last man to attack my backside with a slipper , 50 years on and the memories still smart
He was not what i expected. He was down to earth and would answer any question anyone put to him with honesty ... He was not what you would call a normal manager and it was his way or no way....the english FA were scared **** of him and thats why he never got the english job. A one off and nobody has been like him since even though some have tried...He was the best of his time....
Was at the game so didn't bother watching MOD2 last night, but just caught it to see how bad Dyer's injury was. They played it in real time and it looked rank, but then they didn't show a replay as they said it was too disturbing! Bloody 'ell - I'm quite glad, but not often they do that, must have been horrific in slow mo. Really hope it's not the end of the season for him, he was just hitting good form, hope he gets better soon.
