    With that horrible injury Dyer picked up today it doesn't look good for one of our most important player for the rest of the season! So this January I think our priority in the transfer window is a new winger who will go straight into the squad. There are some cracking players that we can choose from not getting game time Zaha and Sterling on loan is a real possibility also how about a cheeky bid on Ince? Now would be a good bit of business.

    Also reported on our radar is hector moreno a CB from Espanyol which looking at his form would be a great signing for us but with the form of Amat not really a priority.

    I think this window we should go for a winger and a RB as I don't think Tiendalli is good enough for the prem this season IMO

    What's your opinion? Where do you think we need to strengthen, if needed at all? And if so realistically who would you like to see come this January?

    Until we know more on Dyer it may be too early to say. If he's crocked then yes we may have to look at a winger.

    "Also reported on our radar is hector moreno a CB from Espanyol which looking at his form would be a great signing for us but with the form of Amat not really a priority."

    If he doesn't turn his back and duck when an opposing player is lining up to take a shot then sign him up. <ok>

    Sterling played apart in liverpools' demolition of spurs today , I'm not sure how regular he is starting but he is useful and still very young ,Zaha not getting game time & Blackpool falling apart atm maybe Ince could be another option .

    we have more urgent positions that need upgrading than a winger in my view.

    Like where?

    Strikers maybe but we are short of wing players with Dyer looking to be out for a long time, Pablo being injury prone and Lamah's loan coming to an end leaves us very thin with only Routlage as a pure wing player. A loan like Zaha would be a perfect signing for us as we're struggling to unlock defences this season and players like him who will want to put themselves out there in a world cup year will have something to prove. So dai please tell us what position should be a priority??

    I think he's referring to the man who sits on the half way line!

    Haha that's crazy IMO! Just ask Newcastle how taxing the Europa league can be. We're through to the knock out stages and 10th in the league to me that's quite an achievement for a club of our size! I think peoples expectations are getting too high!

    to cocky i think...We have been rubbish at set pieces and if anyone gets a corner then we look well dodgy, So a couple of tall defenders are needed, a striker maybe if michu leaves and a keeper if vorm leaves. we have plenty of midfielders atm that we can field. Yet another 60+ possession again with norwich having more chances and shots at target tells a story and its been like this all season...we are still in the mix with the bottom clubs however you try to dress it up and with the games we have coming up then i can only see it getting worse im afraid...

    The irony (a title of another thread on here tonight) is Dai, that for a long while you were posting anti Huw posts. All that has stopped now <laugh>

    There's plenty on here that remember Dai. You mounted a sustained attack on Huw Jenkins and time has shown that you were totally wrong. The most successful Chairman in Swans history - and you wanted us to get rid of him.

    An alternative view of where we are and Laudrup's capabilities from some Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal fans discussing who might be best qualified to replace AVB;

    Ye a good RB would be good as Rangel wont play sun v Everton as he is suspended and Tiendalli is not up to the task

    I agree Dwight Tiendalli isn't good enough IMO!!!!! what baffles me is why Taylor isn't chosen instead? he played well in that position for team GB in the olympics.
