Levy ended on good terms with Redknapp, I know you and others want to create this strange situation where Levy is angry and offended by the timing of Redknapps comments but as SC pointed out, they ended on good terms and Levy liked Redknapp as a person so the cheap shots may sound good on here but are fairly pathetic at times.

"Drastic improvement needed, and fast Mr AVB"

Can you see it happening ??
Probably looking at best still around for the FA Cup tie.

Ironically it seems that LB will ultimately do for him now, given
    the current injury situation.

I aint got an anti redknapp agenda mate...I NEVER wanted avb from day 1 but understood why levy got rid of redknapp...personally I chose to support avb once he was made our boss but after the toon result said I think he should be sacked...I hope levy and redknapp ended on good terms ... redknapp deserves utmost respect for the great football we had for 3 yrs

  5. Three of the most embarrassing Spurs performances in the PL all within the space of a little over 2 months, with a squad that is lauded as one of the strongest around...... Pitiful performance and pathetic words from a manager who should be ready to start searching the Situations Vacant columns!!

Just not good enough and there are no possible excuses for that dish of **** served up today.

Interesting that over an hour after the disaster and the OS hasn't been updated with any match comments. Wonder whether there is a delay to incorporate a 'thank you and goodbye' message?

It's clear Levy and Redknapp are on good terms, given how Harry is an ally at QPR bringing Townsend and Carroll up to standard on loan and taking Jenas off our hands. If they weren't on good terms, this arrangement wouldn't be in place.

Well it must be wake-up time by now in Caribbean tax haven land, so perhaps the OS has
a "hold the press" on while a certain international phone call is taking place.

Twitter (that most reputable of news sources) is claiming AVB has gone.

    Hope so.

As soon as the team was announced a lot of us were saying wtf! HIAG actually called it and said that we are going to get destroyed today. Yes we had injuries and lacked a defense capable of playing a high line so why did we persist in playing one. It just makes it so easy for the opponents. No playmaker but we let Tom Carroll go out on loan, no full back and we let Benny go. Perplexing.

Watching the game today, I noticed it was a copycat of the Man city game. The problem with Spurs is the midfield is disorganised, they don't protect your backs. And they don't support the front. Non existent area. As for soldado I never related him. In the consideration cup he had 3 chances against Brazil, he fluffed all of them. That was enough for me to conclude he is not a top finisher.
I'm not here to tease spurs fans, but you need a cool analytical independent.

  14. That sums it up. <ok>
Well, almost. You then need to add the fact that the defence is too slow to play a high line, we have outcast our best LB and continue to play a 2nd rate RB in his place, and throw in a team that week after week looks like it is the first time they have ever played together.

I've noticed that issue a lot recently as well - at the start of the season our midfield was a very good unit for getting the ball off the opponents, but that seems to have deserted them in the past couple of months...annoyingly since my trip to Japan, so it's my fault. BUGGER!

Portuguese, Spanish and French Press all reporting AVB has been sacked. All drips and drabs, might just be guessing.

Except that we did score but the ref wrongly chalked it off. And there were two good penalty shouts. We were crap but the ref boot the boot in too...

We've been much more open since AVB started feeling the pressure and has stopped doing it his way. That is not how he should have reacted.

If the ref was on our side we may have lost 5-2 instead of 5-0. That's a morale boosting thought.
