What's the latest on the Markus Liebherr flag ?

How much we raised ?
Are we on course to raise the amount needed ?
We needed about £6,000 I think......I loved the idea of this and hope it is still going to happen

 

Last I heard a few days ago was the total just past the £3.2k mark. Donations are slowing a bit so if you know of anyone that hasn't donated and can spare the odd pound or two now is the time to ask them to donate.

 

Apparently donations have dried up and it's stuck on about £3300

 

Sunday 10th July is the deadline day for ordering so it's ready for the start of the season.

is there a total we need? wasnt cortese going to donate half?

 

Our chairman, Nicola Cortese has also kindly agreed to provide any outstanding funds, if necessary, to ensure that a fit and proper tribute is created in time for the start of next season

 

It's a shame that the money has dried up, but hopefully there will be a late push .......... I thought I read somewhere that the fans would raise as much money as possible and that if not enough was raised then NC would provide the remaining amount - is this true ??

 

Yes NC will 'fill in' the rest but it would be nice if the fans can do it without his help. Total on the website is £3.6k.

We want to do it without Nic's help surely? I've done my part, donated £20

 

Also have already given. Our average gate would only have to give about 25 p each and we'd get there. Needs more publicity. We don't want NC to pay for it...it's our tribute.
