Of course, because AVB distrusts the kids, and has not used the Europa as
an opportunity to progress some of them, then no surprise we are where we are.

 

I don't really blame AVB, and certainly not Levy (I think we'd be in a Villa position if not for him). Given injuries, we would probably all of picked the same defence today. Sandro wasnt playing well, and we have looked better since he went off. Lennon is hardly getting the ball, and Chadli has been pants at crossing. Liverpool, City etc are just better than us. But at least against City we looked good for about 20 minutes. We thought things had improved cos of beating relegation fodder teams from two countries, but alas with this defence we are not good.

 

Should be 3...comical defending yet again!..

This is just a one sided battering. Liverpool have been class but seriously their midfield is being made to look world class, when it's anything but.

 

He wasn't fully fit (which the manager should have known) and the reason we started poorly was because we had no outlet in midfield like Holtby who could pass the ball so yes AVB takes the blame. some of you need drop the stubborn act and accept Avb hasn't a clue when it comes to tactics.

And the only people who thought things had improved where desperate to find positives from Avb but in reality the poor opposition have given false hope.

 

How much space has Henderson got here? It's like he is invisible to your players.

Correct. His idiotic refusal to do anything at all, despite it being clearly shown that he had got it totally wrong, is the final straw for me!..

 

Lennon did well, then did crap.
Nobody's having a good game for us.

 

Lennon is at least trying and playing decent.

 

Can't understand why fans want to defend Avb, other then through being stubborn and pig headed, he isn't what this club needs and I know rival fans will be taking joy out of this, yet its got to the point where they can't even wind us up, as we fully expect us to be crap!

His saving grace has been picking up points but if thats only happening agaisnt poor opposition then he will probably last the season before the inevitable happens.
