It's going to be a lot to ask bearing in mind the form that Liverpool are in, but we are going to need a win after today's results.

Apparently Sandro was having a fitness test today. Gave the thumbs up at the end so hopefully should be available.

And was smiling and joking as he got a piggy back on one of the coaches back to the changing rooms!

Must win game seeing as how it has all clustered a bit at the top (and that Everton won as well).

    Not your favourite player then?

EDIT: I'd rather see Townsend playing, but I do like the idea of playing Dembele further forward. A bit worried about Naughton. I'd rather have Benny back.

EDIT: Why isn't Holtby starting? Surely coming from an Evertonian family Holtby might be up for it more than others.

I worry for the Pool, I feel Chadli has a hattrick in him today ;)

Suarez must be licking his lips at the sight of Capoue and Dawson as the centre back pairing.

I've got a bad feeling about this.

I don't think either side will be fearing too much from the opposition's line up.

The only reasoning that I can see for starting Chadli is that he might help out at the back a bit better than Townsend

The CB issue - yeah ok, we've got injuries there and Capoue has played CB before for his previous club.

What's happened to Rose now though - surely he's not injured again?

Capoue and Dawson are both around 6 foot +., might be out of his range..... I think he'll bite Naughton.

Townsend can come on as sub and run at some tired full backs. His advantage as a sub is that he can replace either Lennon or Chadli.

AVB hasn't got a clue. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that Coco, himself, could manage this team better than he.

This team is going to get slaughtered by 'Pool, with or without GBH.
