I'm a Happy Townie again tonight! Well done to Mick and the Boys for turning us into serious play-off contenders all through sheer bloody hard work and determination. Special mention goes out to Gerks who is having a blinding run of form inbetween the sticks atm! Only 3 points off the play-offs and if someone had given me that at the start of the season I would have ripped their bloody arm off! Lots of football to be played but this team is performing above all expectations.
Tough game...fine battling performance...and it seems Nouble played well too..his best game so far?! For once the ref did us proud! Very valuable clean sheet. Next 3 look easier but one never knows in this league.

A good away point, before the game today i was hoping for 9 points from the following 5 games so now its 8 points from 4 games, i think this would be an realistic target and keep us on target to make the playoffs.
I think 9 points was a very do able target Weighty. Watford up next. Not in best of form so why can't we stick a couple past them. Just getting the feeling of optimism is rising and right now being an Ipswich fan is a good place to be.
We were lucky to get away with a point yesterday. Gerks was magnificent and we certainly rode our luck at times, but seeing the replay think it should have been a pen... although the forward looks to deliberately touch the ball away at the very last second so Gerken takes him out, goalkeeper should be aware of that and only dive in when they're 100% sure of getting the ball. On that performance we are probably a top ten side, which is where we all wanted to be this season but there is a long way to go yet, get your cheque book out in January please Marcus!
I agree we can get another 8 points from four games but that's not going to see us close in on the top six, just keep pace
