RBF runs this competition every year, and it takes a fair amount of time. He does not want to trawl through your squit. Lets delete the Swans poem and Royals response as well then shall we. Do all the poems automatically get fed straight through to the club then. I seem to recall Royal picks the best ones to put forward (I should know, I was one of them) so don't try an make out its some kind of official Club approved thread. I felt that Welly's and your efforts, were more concerned with attacking individuals on this board, than about the team. That is why I asked for them to be removed. You chose not to, so I did it for you.

ATTENTION CARRABUH! carrabuh, we live in a democratic society, our forum rules are there for the benefit of everybody, we have no "opt out" provision, nor do we have a set of rules for carrabuh only, I'm quite ashamed that the poster from our rival's club has responded favourably to a request from a forum moderator, yet one (allegedly) of our own has declined the opportunity and has turned it into a playground situation by stating if I don't get my own way I'm not going to play anymore! Your choice carrabuh, play by the rules or don't play at all!
carrabuh - I didn´t get to see either welly´s post(s) or yours, so I can´t comment, but you´re right, the limericks are not automatically fed straight through to the Club, but we are certainly supported and sponsored by the Club, and I have made them fully aware of both the site and the thread, so it is quite conceivable that they keep a watchful eye on proceedings , therefore it can´t just be a free-for-all. My banter with the Swan wasn´t necessary, and was just a spontaneous aside, and naturally has nothing to do with the actual Limerick Challenge, but I just felt a response was appropriate, I certainly won´t be adding anymore.
Sometimes it's only fun for the person doing the winding up, that's why forums are moderated! Good luck for the rest of the season after your customary loss today!
