Good response from them before the game. Loads of us walking down from Tigers Lair with flags singing, few daft lads went on the road. The police riot vans came flying in and I'm thinking here we go, massive overreaction. They actually dealt with it well. Kept us all on the path and closr together, made the singing louder as a result, took the tine to explain what was happening and why which was reasonable.

The only problem was one twat who said he had better things to be doing (than his job presumably) and that you only get this with football fans, not rugby or cricket. Ignoring that cricket isn't even played in the Humberside police area, it's total bullshit to ignore all the bricks through coach windows at rugby games and was indicative of the anti-football culture that I believe exists in the authorities in this country.

Every song is only sung in E1, E2 and E3 so by that reckoning nearly everyone who sings at our games. Also CTID and we say no songs where sung very loudly, don't even know how you can deny that.

    What a ****.

Easy non jobs like policing today's trouble fee event help pay for his conny or his next Tenerife jaunt.

Joke of a police force out in force again down Anlaby Road. Has someone updated the matchday policing manual to the effect that we no longer play at BP so the Silver Cod is no longer a flashpoint.

No doubt ten years after the move they're still trying to con people into believing that, thanks to their robust measures, the Silver Cod's clientele no longer indiscriminately throw glasses in the middle of the road before every game.

Some bloke with a bald head in his mid to late 30's.

Think some stoke scum were making crude gestures at a young girl who was with her brother or uncle or dad and a few city fans kicked up about it. Which is understandable ...girl and person she was with left with maybe 5 mins to go...

Maybe the bloke who got took out had responded with gestures ?

That's what I made of it.

Wow so moderators now insult other members who make a valid point in a polite manner. You're showing your age!

It wasn't a valid point, it was a typical Circa pisstake which had no merit whatsoever, I only needed to repeat one word to demonstrate that. All you do is scan certain people's posts desperate for reasons to take the piss, yet when Ben actually rips you apart on your nonsense you go into troll mode posting stuff along the lins of "HAHAHAHAHAHA so pathetic quite sad really that you'd go back through all my posts AHAHAHAHAH" yet you still try and make out I'm the childish one.

Just because I'm a moderator, doesn't mean I can't point out who the most pointless posters on here are.

So a City fan responds to something and is chucked out whilst the instigators are left alone by the stewards and police? Typical. Nothing changes.

I sit in E7 and there were a few of us singing. Also a couple of blocks along, maybe E4 and E5 a lot stood at the back singing. Looked across at South Stand and there were a few getting some singing going there. Looked across at the West Stand and saw no movement at all. Just for once I would absolutely love the whole of the stadium to stand up and sing City Till I Die. Not necessarily to support the protest but just to actually hear what it would sound like.

I always sing city till I die

    I always will

Wish the north stand was for home fans and all those that sing moved into the north stand.

Even better if it was standing as well

I know someone who wrote to the police a few seasons back and asked why they were stood filming City fans whilst Cardiff fans were throwing objects across at them without any action by the police. He got a patronising letter back asking how he would feel if he was attacked on the way home and the police hadn't been filming as this would make identifying the culprits easier. His further letter asking the police why they thought he may be attacked by fellow City fans on his way home received no reply.

Smoke bombs at the last FC v Rovers game, 5 arrests, a bottle thrown at a player. Has anyone seen any court appearances or banning orders as a result of this? Yet these clowns still stand filming City fans when nothing is happening.
