I've not seen him except on line. I was talking to another guitarist who knows him who saw him over here after a tour he did in far east. Reckons he was up at 4 every morning to practice as that was the only time the heat and humidity would allow his guitar to sound right. Someone else I know went to one of his guitarist workshops expecting words of wisdom. He said it was an experience not to be missed but the three most important bits of advice he gave were.... Paractice Practice practice He started when he was 4, I started when I was 59 so probably not be attaining the same standards as there's not enough time left to practice enough!
****, he don't half sound like him.

As something of an aside this bloke is probably the most versatile guitarist I`ve ever heard. He`s 22 stone, fingers like a pound of sausages and has an eye condition from birth which makes him legally blind. He`s a Nashville country picker. Never heard anyone bend notes inside a chord like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brQV1ZWwUys A bit of blues http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWBHLRzQUTM A bit of jazz/rock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oSQpKuY968 Something a bit different (even got the flintstones theme in the middle) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxLeC8BfHQg Don`t there`s anything this bloke can`t play.
